Hocco at a glance
Hocco is an Ahmedabad-based food and ice cream business led by the Chona family, which has a long history in India's restaurant and ice cream industry. After the family sold its earlier Havmor ice cream business, Ankit Chona developed Hocco as a new food business. The Hocco portfolio includes Hocco Ice Cream, Hocco Eatery, Hocco Ready-to-Eat and premium ice cream brand Huber & Holly. The company operates restaurants, quick-service outlets, ice cream cafés and packaged-food businesses. Hocco returned to the mass-market ice cream category with Hocco Ice Cream in 2023. It manufactures and distributes ice cream through retail outlets, general trade and newer channels such as quick commerce. The wider business therefore combines food manufacturing, branded restaurants, ice cream retail and packaged food.
