Kaynes Technology was founded in 1988 by Ramesh Kunhikannan after he completed his engineering education. The company began by manufacturing complex printed circuit board assemblies for industrial customers and gradually expanded into a broad electronics-manufacturing-services business. Today, Kaynes works with customers in sectors such as automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace and defence, railways, medical devices and consumer electronics. Its services can cover the entire product journey, including design, engineering, component sourcing, printed circuit board assembly, box-build manufacturing, testing and after-sales support. Kaynes also develops selected original-design products and embedded systems. The company operates manufacturing facilities across India and serves customers in multiple countries. It is also expanding into semiconductor assembly and related electronics infrastructure as India builds a larger domestic electronics-manufacturing ecosystem.
