PhysicsWallah at a glance
PhysicsWallah, commonly called PW, sells education and test-preparation services. It began with Alakh Pandey teaching physics on YouTube and later became a company in 2020 when Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari built the PhysicsWallah platform. Students can learn through recorded and live online classes, YouTube content and physical coaching centres. The company initially became popular for JEE and NEET preparation but has expanded into government exams, UPSC, GATE, professional skills, higher education and study-abroad services. Its offline and hybrid centres allow PW to serve students who still prefer classroom teaching while using the same brand and learning content developed online. PhysicsWallah became a publicly listed company in November 2025, completing its shift from a YouTube-led education channel into a broad education business.
