Whatfix was built by Khadim Batti and Vara Kumar Namburu and developed into a digital-adoption software company. Its platform sits on top of enterprise applications and helps users understand what to do while they are using the software. Companies can create step-by-step guidance, pop-up instructions, task flows and self-help content for employees or customers. Whatfix also provides analytics that show where users are struggling and tools for improving software adoption. Its customers are mainly large organizations using complex systems such as CRM, ERP, HR and other enterprise applications. Whatfix started from an earlier product called SearchEnabler before focusing on digital adoption. Today, the company sells subscription software globally and combines user guidance, analytics and application training in one platform.
