Bhavit Sheth

Bhavit Sheth is the co-founder and chief operating officer of Dream Sports.

Journey

Sheth studied engineering and finance and worked in business analysis before partnering with Harsh Jain. The two founded Dream11 in 2008, when fantasy sport was unfamiliar to most Indian consumers and digital payments were limited.

The original season-long format had weak adoption. Sheth and Jain changed the product to contests linked to individual matches and developed a freemium model. As Dream11 grew, Sheth led operations, product execution and the systems needed to handle sharp traffic peaks around major games. Dream Sports later became the group structure for Dream11 and related sports businesses. Public reporting continues to identify Sheth as co-founder and COO.

Working approach

His role is grounded in execution and unit economics. Fantasy sports requires real-time scoring, contest settlement, fraud controls and customer support, so operational detail is inseparable from the consumer product.

Assessment

Sheth helped convert a niche idea into a repeatable mass-market platform. The continuing responsibility is to strengthen responsible play, transparency and regulatory compliance in a sector whose legal environment can change quickly.
