Waaree Energies traces its origins to 1989 and was founded by Hitesh Chimanlal Doshi. The company later entered solar energy and has developed into one of India's largest photovoltaic manufacturing businesses. Its main products include solar modules and solar cells used to convert sunlight into electricity. Waaree is also expanding across other parts of the clean-energy supply chain, including wafers, inverters, battery energy storage, green hydrogen and engineering and construction services. It supplies products to customers in India as well as international markets, including the United States. Alongside manufacturing, the wider Waaree Group participates in renewable project development and related energy businesses. This gives Waaree exposure to both the manufacturing side of solar energy and the development of complete renewable-energy systems.
