Battery Smart at a glance
Battery Smart solves a simple problem for commercial electric-vehicle drivers: charging a battery takes time, and that is time when the vehicle cannot earn money. At a Battery Smart station, a driver can exchange a discharged battery for a charged battery in a few minutes and continue working. The company mainly serves electric two- and three-wheelers and operates through a network of battery-swapping stations, many run with local partners. This separates the battery from the vehicle and turns charging into an ongoing service rather than requiring every driver to manage charging independently. Pulkit Khurana and Siddharth Sikka founded Battery Smart in 2019. By 2026, its network had grown to more than 1,500 swap stations, serving over 60,000 drivers across more than 60 cities.
