Yulu at a glance
Yulu is an electric mobility company started in 2017. It provides small electric two-wheelers that are mainly used for short trips inside cities and for last-mile delivery work. Customers and delivery workers can access Yulu vehicles without having to own them. The company uses technology to manage its vehicle network, customer access and day-to-day operations. An important part of Yulu's model is battery swapping, which allows discharged batteries to be replaced quickly instead of waiting for vehicles to recharge. Yulu has operated in major Indian urban markets and has also developed partner-led expansion models. Its business therefore combines electric vehicles, shared mobility, software and battery infrastructure to provide transportation services.
